Acer Swift 3

Hey Guys, Welcome back to Interesting Intelligence! This is my review of the best cheap laptop for students. The AMD Ryzen 47000-U is also capable of playing games at a decent frame rate.

AMD laptops are just crushing right now! They have better performance and speed than the Intel ones. We've seen some good AMD laptops already but this one is on a different level. This laptop is going to be very popular among students because they have done so much right at such a low price! In my opinion, the only thing negative about it is its screen. The brightness is low but the real problem is colour accuracy. It is not colour accurate and if that affects you,, this laptop is not for you. It is not for photographers, editors, etc. The keyboard is solid but you may find the positioning of arrow keys, uncomfortable at first.

There is a fingerprint sensor at the bottom right of the laptop. The trackpad is plastic so it doesn't have the premium feel which the glass ones provide. It has a good mechanical click. The performance is reasonable in multiple cores. The fans are reasonable. They could've gone with bigger fans but they chose the quieter one which is good news for some people. The gaming is surprisingly good. So, If you are a casual gamer, but, obviously the graphics will not be as good as the expensive laptops have! You are getting good performance in just 650$! This laptop has better gaming experience that the Razer Stealth from last year which is 3 times more expensive! The port selection is decent. There are two USB-A and 1 USB-C. You can use the USB-C  for charging as well.

It is a well-built laptop and it's hard to find errors in this laptop. It is fully aluminium. The internals is easily accessible. The RAM is limited up to 8GB. There is an excellent Wi-Fi card as well. I don't know how they are giving all of this in just 650$. The battery life is 6-7hrs. You will need to bring a charger to work, as it works for almost a day! The speakers are surprisingly good, again better than some expensive ones. But, as the speaker points downwards, you may not be able to hear it when it's on your lap.

This laptop is going to be very popular among people who are looking for budget laptops. The only problem according to me in this laptop is the screen which is not a big problem. But, if you are picky, don't buy this laptop.

Apple's AirTags

This blog is to discuss if AirTags really prevent thefts... Misusage So I read a lot of theories on how these tags are actually helping in the thefts. So if you are a thief and stealing a bike with an AirTag, you get a notification on your iPhone and then you can easily disable that. But, it's not so easy. The Tag does not notify you that an AirTag is with you until you reach a landmark. So that the owner knows you stopped at that landmark. Maybe your house, mall or a restaurant. Now there is one problem with this. If I have an AirTag and I plant it in your bag for example. So you won't know something with a GPS is with you giving your location and telling the landmark you are at. So people can track you and that is both scary and creepy. Good or Bad? Eh.. A bit of both. So, it's great if someone is trying to steal your stuff but, it's creepy when someone is stalking your movement. But, this is the first time Apple is doing this so it is not perfect but, I believe it is...

Acer Nitro 5

Hey Guys! Welcome back to Interesting Intelligence! This is my review of the 2020 Acer Nitro 5. The cheapest gaming laptop with AMD Ryzen CPUs and up to an RTX 2060 for students and small budgets. This is a 670$ machine. The Acer Nitro Series has traditionally been very inexpensive and people have been interested in this device because of its price but this year they made very significant improvements. First, I am going to talk about some minor issues which you should be aware of. The first issue is the screen but the more important one is the keyboard. The screen is a 60Hz 1080p panel. It is the standard screen you would expect at this price. The colour accuracy is not great but it is okay for the price. My issue is the brightness and when you are playing shooter games, it is not easy to trace people in dim light. The second thing is the keyboard. I personally find it uncomfortable for gaming. I feel that the W, A, S, D keys are very close to the left side of the...

Intel's Trap

This is my blog to review Acer Triton 300 SE, Asus Dash F15 and MSI Stealth 15M's performance with the Intel H35 chips. I will also talk about the competition between Intel and AMD. Many gaming laptops are coming out, and some of them are good, especially the new AMD ones but if you are looking to buy a laptop and your choice has an Intel chip; You have been fooled! So I am going to talk about some new Intel devices and then about Intel in general. Now I have nothing against Intel, in fact, I myself am typing this on an Intel device. Asus Dash F15 This machine has a 4-core CPU. So, this makes it easy to cool, lighter, thinner, and you would think cheaper. So it is a nice idea. But, Asus didn't make it cheap. So it does not really make sense anymore. This laptop will cost you 1700$, and you can get 8-core Asus devices in that range so why would somebody go for this?  The gaming performance is good as it has RTX 3070, and most of the games will give you a good frame...
