Pixel 4

This is my review of the Pixel 4 and 4 XL. These phones are not regular smartphones because the company that makes them(Google) is not a regular phone company, they are not even a hardware company. They are a software company that just happens to make hardware to sell their software. If you look at the previous versions of this phone, those were phones which clearly focussed on software and their camera system. So clearly, Pixel phones are software-based devices, but this year during the presentation they emphasized on two hardware features. The 90Hz screen's smoothness and fluidity and the radar-based motion-sensing tech.

Firstly, I am going to talk about this motion-sensing technology. It is freaking awesome. So when Pixel displayed this technology back in 2015, it looked amazing and this is the first step towards it. You don’t have fingertip movements on this phone right now, but you have hand movements. I know the hand movements are not useful but you need to realize that this is Step 1!

Another controversial thing about this phone is its price. Pixel 4 costs 800$ and 4 XL is for 900$. Clearly, these phones are very expensive. The thing that sucks is that Pixel phones become way cheaper after some time of their launch. It seems weird to me that they launch their phones at such a high price and after around a year, they drastically drop the prices. Other companies like Apple and OnePlus don't do that. It is obviously a business strategy, but I feel that if they decrease their launching prices, people won't criticise them. Now, If I look at this phone with a different perspective assuming the sale price to be 650-700$, this phone is great. I love the screen which has a fantastic 90 Hz refresh rate and a super-fast face unlock. In fact, it is one of the fastest face unlocks out there. The speakers sound great, but the battery life isn't as good. I was honestly disappointed with the 6-6.5 hr battery life.

Camera; this is a topic which is going to be subjective this year. Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 are going to have the best cameras in the market right now. They are very similar yet different. It is very difficult for me to choose one, but if I had to, it would be the iPhone 11. I find iPhone 11 easier to use because it automatically does most of the things, but I have noticed that the Pixel 4 handles low light better. One thing is for sure, that both of these cameras are better than the OnePlus ones; but OnePlus is 200$ cheaper with that same 90Hz screen with double the storage. If you want to choose between Pixel and OnePlus, it is relatively simple. If you care a lot about picture quality; Pixel 4 it is!

Apple's AirTags

This blog is to discuss if AirTags really prevent thefts... Misusage So I read a lot of theories on how these tags are actually helping in the thefts. So if you are a thief and stealing a bike with an AirTag, you get a notification on your iPhone and then you can easily disable that. But, it's not so easy. The Tag does not notify you that an AirTag is with you until you reach a landmark. So that the owner knows you stopped at that landmark. Maybe your house, mall or a restaurant. Now there is one problem with this. If I have an AirTag and I plant it in your bag for example. So you won't know something with a GPS is with you giving your location and telling the landmark you are at. So people can track you and that is both scary and creepy. Good or Bad? Eh.. A bit of both. So, it's great if someone is trying to steal your stuff but, it's creepy when someone is stalking your movement. But, this is the first time Apple is doing this so it is not perfect but, I believe it is...

Acer Nitro 5

Hey Guys! Welcome back to Interesting Intelligence! This is my review of the 2020 Acer Nitro 5. The cheapest gaming laptop with AMD Ryzen CPUs and up to an RTX 2060 for students and small budgets. This is a 670$ machine. The Acer Nitro Series has traditionally been very inexpensive and people have been interested in this device because of its price but this year they made very significant improvements. First, I am going to talk about some minor issues which you should be aware of. The first issue is the screen but the more important one is the keyboard. The screen is a 60Hz 1080p panel. It is the standard screen you would expect at this price. The colour accuracy is not great but it is okay for the price. My issue is the brightness and when you are playing shooter games, it is not easy to trace people in dim light. The second thing is the keyboard. I personally find it uncomfortable for gaming. I feel that the W, A, S, D keys are very close to the left side of the...

Intel's Trap

This is my blog to review Acer Triton 300 SE, Asus Dash F15 and MSI Stealth 15M's performance with the Intel H35 chips. I will also talk about the competition between Intel and AMD. Many gaming laptops are coming out, and some of them are good, especially the new AMD ones but if you are looking to buy a laptop and your choice has an Intel chip; You have been fooled! So I am going to talk about some new Intel devices and then about Intel in general. Now I have nothing against Intel, in fact, I myself am typing this on an Intel device. Asus Dash F15 This machine has a 4-core CPU. So, this makes it easy to cool, lighter, thinner, and you would think cheaper. So it is a nice idea. But, Asus didn't make it cheap. So it does not really make sense anymore. This laptop will cost you 1700$, and you can get 8-core Asus devices in that range so why would somebody go for this?  The gaming performance is good as it has RTX 3070, and most of the games will give you a good frame...
