The Best 500$ Phones Right Now

Hey Guys, Welcome back to Interesting Intelligence! Which is your favourite 500$ phone? This blog is about my thoughts on the best phone options right now for 500$. I thought I should make a blog on my 5 favourite phones in that bunch and also mention my personal favourite in that group. Every phone here is really good. There is no particular order when I am talking about these phones and their differences. So let's begin.

1) Samsung S9+ ( This list is not in any order.)

It's such an easy phone to recommend. The best thing about it is that it is an all-rounder phone. Everything about this phone is solid. The speakers, the headphone jack, screen, camera system. It does everything so well! The camera isn't the best thing in the world. I would say that the Pixel cameras are better. There's one thing that I don't like about this phone, that is the software updates. Samsung is a company that makes tons of phones but for whatever reason, they are slow to update their phones. There are only two or three major software updates in the whole year, also after sometime Samsung will stop updating this phone. I think this is the only disadvantage of this phone otherwise it is fantastic. If you care about frequent updates, this may not be the best pick.

2) Google Pixel 3 a xl

This is Google's answer to the whole mid-tier phone market. They did an awesome job on this phone. It's plastic but it still feels like a relatively premium phone. If you didn't tell me that it is a polycarbonate shell, I would have believed that it is glass and metal. Its that well made. The weakness of this phone is it's performance, It has a great camera and software but if you want a fast phone. this one is noticeably slower than other 500$ phones out there. It also doesn't have wireless charging if that matters to you. If you are looking for just a good overall experience, this is a great pick up.

3) OnePlus 6T

You can pick this phone up from their website for 550$, which doesn't really fit that 500$ segment but I have put it in here anyway.
OnePlus as a brand has been traditionally known as the 'value' brand. Their brand isn't that price competitive as it used to be, not that it is a bad phone or anything, it's a good phone, But when I look at the price, it doesn't seem a value brand anymore. It's got a relatively smaller nodge and the software is clean, it's got dash charging. It does not, however, have a headphone jack and I think at this price point headphone jacks are important, shame it doesn't have it! So... OnePlus 6T is a great phone but not a price leader anymore.

4) Asus Zenfone 6

The newest addition to the line-up, Asus Zenfone 6. I really like this phone. My initial prediction to this phone was that the hinge to the camera in this phone is questionable. Now, I realized that the camera is not bustable at all, I think it will hold up quite well to real rough use. The advantages are the aesthetic, its a nice clean looking front. I would also say that the software is quite clean. The flip camera makes water resistance on a phone like this very difficult. I advise keeping this phone completely away from water. I feel that Asus has never been great at a camera. The processing of the image is hoped to be fixed somehow and that is the only major flaw in this phone. Everything about this phone seems right for 500$.

5) Razer Phone 2

The last one is the Razer Phone 2. Now, this is a phone that launched for 800 bucks and at that price point, it was a bad recommendation.
It is now a 500$ phone, It's such a good phone at that price point. I find it unfortunate when companies do that, They launch a phone and price it the wrong way. It just kills the product. The phone is good but the reviewers have reviewed it when the phone was for 800$ and now it's not selling because the reviewers are saying it's not worth it and the people now read the reviews and think that the phone is not worth 500$. The main feature is that 120Hz screen. The biggest weakness is the uncertainty of future updates. It is updating time to time since a couple of months, I hope it's the same for years.
All these are great phones, but if I have to choose one as my favourite of the five. If you had asked me two weeks ago, I would've said the Samsung S9+. I like it a lot but because of the introduction of the Zenfone 6. This is my favourite now. They have done a fantastic job, The world didn't expect this. And, If you are interested in a 500$ phone. I strongly recommend you to check this phone out. This is a message for Asus, this is a phone that has finally got the attention of a lot of eyeballs. They have made a lot of phones but none of them became massively popular, this can be the one! It is very popular in North America, which Asus was never in North America. I hope everyone respects and appreciates that thing, This is a great phone, but they gotta keep it updated and the camera software needs to be improved.

Apple's AirTags

This blog is to discuss if AirTags really prevent thefts... Misusage So I read a lot of theories on how these tags are actually helping in the thefts. So if you are a thief and stealing a bike with an AirTag, you get a notification on your iPhone and then you can easily disable that. But, it's not so easy. The Tag does not notify you that an AirTag is with you until you reach a landmark. So that the owner knows you stopped at that landmark. Maybe your house, mall or a restaurant. Now there is one problem with this. If I have an AirTag and I plant it in your bag for example. So you won't know something with a GPS is with you giving your location and telling the landmark you are at. So people can track you and that is both scary and creepy. Good or Bad? Eh.. A bit of both. So, it's great if someone is trying to steal your stuff but, it's creepy when someone is stalking your movement. But, this is the first time Apple is doing this so it is not perfect but, I believe it is...

17' Razer Blade Pro 2019

Hey Guys, Welcome back to Interesting Intelligence! This laptop is SO much better than the previous blade pro. The thermals are crazy good. I would say that it is their best gaming laptop with awesome thermal performance. This laptop is brand new from this year, It is completely redesigned. It is their most expensive, most powerful and the most big-screened gaming laptop and it's a nice looking unit. I like this laptop a lot, however, there are some things which I want you to know if you're interested in picking this thing up! 1) Hardware The build of this device is very similar to the build of the 15' this year. It's got the same kind of design, shape, the light-up snake logo up front. It is very much an updated Razer product. I highly recommend you for getting a case or skin it if you buy a black one because even with very safe handling this device sometimes has dents and they are very much visible on a black one.         This laptop is obviously big...

Intel's Trap

This is my blog to review Acer Triton 300 SE, Asus Dash F15 and MSI Stealth 15M's performance with the Intel H35 chips. I will also talk about the competition between Intel and AMD. Many gaming laptops are coming out, and some of them are good, especially the new AMD ones but if you are looking to buy a laptop and your choice has an Intel chip; You have been fooled! So I am going to talk about some new Intel devices and then about Intel in general. Now I have nothing against Intel, in fact, I myself am typing this on an Intel device. Asus Dash F15 This machine has a 4-core CPU. So, this makes it easy to cool, lighter, thinner, and you would think cheaper. So it is a nice idea. But, Asus didn't make it cheap. So it does not really make sense anymore. This laptop will cost you 1700$, and you can get 8-core Asus devices in that range so why would somebody go for this?  The gaming performance is good as it has RTX 3070, and most of the games will give you a good frame...
