OnePlus 9 Pro - Overhyped?

This is my review of the brand new OnePlus 9 Pro assisted with the Hasselblad camera system. I have also compared it against the Samsung S21 Ultra and iPhone 12 Pro, which are some of the best cameras.

Colour

So this blog is only about the OnePlus 9 Pro, and I will probably do another one for the OnePlus 9. So, I was really excited about this phone because I think the OnePlus 8 Pro was the best phone and because OnePlus did a lot of marketing for this one and hyped it a lot. But, overhyping is dangerous, it sets some unrealistic expectations, and when they are not met, that brings a negative aspect to the product. Now OnePlus hyped it because of their partnership with one of the most well-known camera companies. Hasselblad! This camera is definitely better than OnePlus 8 Pro's in every aspect, and it should be because this is the new one. Three things are different: colour, ultrawide lens, and video. Colour was a major topic for their advertising. But, colour is a very subjective thing. And every flagship phone has good colour. So the colours are good but they were good in the previous model as well. 8 Pro had more vibrant and lively colours, and this one has more realistic colours, and there is nothing wrong with either.

8 Pro VS 9 Pro

The 8 Pro has relatively more vibrant colours. And I liked that I love to see a bluer sky or greener grass even though I know that its not realistic. But, 8 Pro had a tough time shooting skin tones which is a generally hard thing for most of the cameras. And the 9 Pro shoots the skin well. So, I would say overall the colour has improved. But, when I compare it with iPhone 12 Pro or Samsung S21 Ultra, I like those two better even in colour. Maybe 9 Pro shoots better skin than S21 ultra but overall S21 is better for me and iPhone 12 is the best.

Videos

I think this device is the best one to shoot videos. The stabilization in the videos is way better than iPhone 12 Pro or the S2 Ultra and its perfect. You can shoot 4K at 120 frames per second which looks really cool in slow motion especially. The ultrawide lens is also amazing and the good thing is that the same lens is used in OnePlus 9 as well. The image quality is not perfect but, is a whole lot better than last year.

SIT DOWN ONEPLUS!

So this a great camera but, I am not satisfied. I had expectations and this is not it. OnePlus did so much advertising that its hard for me to appreciate this product. Now when they come out with something new and advertise it. People won't be that excited because of this. I get that they need to tell people about how much they spent and all but, maybe it got a bit too much. But, if I am honest and I forget the marketing. This is a great camera and it can compete with the best out there. But, maybe just try and sit down OnePlus.

It's not just a camera...

Let's talk about the other characteristics. So it is a 120 Hz screen and for some software bug it sttutters a bit when you scroll. The battery is 4500mAH. But, the battery life remains the same and it may increase after a few software tweaks. The camera hump divides opinion. Personally, I don't like it. The phone charges really fast. There is a 65 watt charger included in the box and it can go from 0 to 100 in 30 minutes.

So overall its a good phone. I just wish they would have marketed it accordingly. But, its for 970$. Its OnePlus the price had to increase. And its not really to recommend these phones anymore because their software has gone a bit sloppy. And there are some really good competitors in that price range. So here's my advice. If you are getting this for performance or clean OnePlus UI and you know what you are getting, you won't be disappointed. But, if you are buying it because you think you will become some great photographer because of the Hasselblad branding..... It ain't happening.

OnePlus 9 - You HAVE to settle

This is a review of the OnePlus 9 and its comparison to the OnePlus 9 Pro and 8 Pro. This blog also includes discussion related to the missing OIS in OnePlus. Hardware There is a lot to like about this phone. I love the fact that it has a flat-screen and this was going to be my preferred phone instead of the 9 Pro but that may have changed. So the speakers are as good as the 9 Pro ones. They are not as good as gaming phones but, they're good. There is a solid 7-8 hours of battery life. There is a wireless charger but, with less but, still enough power. The battery is much more consistent than the battery on 9 Pro because of the high refresh rate in the Pro version. The Problem So I was sure that the OnePlus 9 camera was going to as good as the 8 Pro if not better. But, for some reason, OnePlus decide to remove optical image stabilization. This may sound very small but, the difference is huge and every OnePlus phone has had it till this one. Which 730$ does not have OIS. I am really

Intel's Trap

This is my blog to review Acer Triton 300 SE, Asus Dash F15 and MSI Stealth 15M's performance with the Intel H35 chips. I will also talk about the competition between Intel and AMD. Many gaming laptops are coming out, and some of them are good, especially the new AMD ones but if you are looking to buy a laptop and your choice has an Intel chip; You have been fooled! So I am going to talk about some new Intel devices and then about Intel in general. Now I have nothing against Intel, in fact, I myself am typing this on an Intel device. Asus Dash F15 This machine has a 4-core CPU. So, this makes it easy to cool, lighter, thinner, and you would think cheaper. So it is a nice idea. But, Asus didn't make it cheap. So it does not really make sense anymore. This laptop will cost you 1700$, and you can get 8-core Asus devices in that range so why would somebody go for this?  The gaming performance is good as it has RTX 3070, and most of the games will give you a good frame

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+

Hey Guys, Welcome back to Interesting Intelligence! This is my review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+. iPad's competitor? If you would have asked me some time before that "Which is the best tablet", I would have undoubtedly said "iPad Pro", but now we have competition! Samsung Galaxy S7+ is surely the best android tablet and a toe-to-toe competitor of the iPad. It is, in fact, the more practical choice for many people. The hardware specs on this thing are solid! There are two speakers on each side of the tablet and this thing is awesome for anything which has something to do with audio! Screen, Pen and Keyboard. S7+ has a 120Hz panel and because it has a high refresh rate, things look superfluid. I have said before that refresh rate should not be a major reason to buy a smartphone but it definitely is in tablets because of the electronic pen. The pen on this device is also up to the point. There are only 7 milliseconds of latency. The pen magnetically sticks on
